Do You Know The Size Of A Mustard Seed Is Too Small For You?

Do you know the size of a mustard seed? And yes, it is too small. It’s about 1 to 2 millimetres.

A mustard seed.

Do you also know the weight of the smallest seed in the world? It comes from the orchids family. This plant grows in the rain forest and it weighs about 1/35,000,000 of an ounce or 0.81micrograms. Too small, isn’t it?

Have you ever held a grain of sand in your hand? The weight of a grain of sand is about 0.011 micrograms. Extremely lightweight weight? Don’t you think so?

All these particles are too small and this is all the faith Jesus said we need.

Mathew 17: 21…He replied,” Because you have so little faith.I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain,’ Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

I asked Google if it is possible to move a mountain. This was Google’s answer, not mine… The answer was ‘certainly’. And in modern times miners do it all the time. It’s just expensive and rather time-consuming.

All you have to do or what miners do is to drill holes. Insert explosives and break up the rock of the mountain a little at a time. Then pick it up with loaders or shovels( large mechanical machinery). And carry the materials off in trucks and deposit it elsewhere.

And you repeat this again and again and again and wallah! The mountain is moved. I guess where there is a will there is a way.

Okay, in modern times it’s possible to move a mountain, maybe. That is according to Google. Especially if it is a must it be moved. But in Jesus times, I think the disciples thought Jesus was mad when he said, faith as small as a mustard seed could move a mountain.

Faith as small as a mustard seed.

I think what Jesus meant was that, with a little belief in God and his word. Your prayers will be answered.

Believing that God will answer your prayers is important. It will help you to know for sure that God has heard you and he will do as you ask.

Everything is possible with God.

It is that small quiet confidence that God is powerful and there is nothing impossible for him to do. The God whom you serve has already heard your prayers. And He is already at work to do what you asked him to do.

Whether you see or don’t see. He is working to answer your prayers.

So the next time you hold one grain of sand in your hand. Tell yourself….God has heard me. And he will answer my prayers.

Thank you, Jesus!

Welcome to my third blog!!!!🙂

When you give your child a present and they don’t say anything to you. There is always that common phrase that follows from the adult.

” Na unasema nini?” meaning “What do you say?”

Thank you

Well… a long time ago, Leprosy was a very serious disease. It came with very painful sores all over one’s body. And in serious cases, one would lose different parts of their bodies.

In Jesus’s time, there was no cure for this stubborn disease. Those who were infected had to be chased from their family, friends and community. They had to live outside their villages and beg for food. The lepers also had to shout as they walked along to warn others of their presence. They did this to avoid infecting others with leprosy.

When you looked at the person with leprosy, they were a sight for sore eyes. They were treated as an outcast. And no one wanted to be close to them.

In Luke 11: 11- 17, Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. He met 10 lepers. They stood at a distance from Jesus and asked him to pity them. Jesus told them to go and show themselves to the priest.

As they were on their way to the priest. They noticed that they were healed. All the sores had disappeared and they looked perfectly normal.

They were now eager to go back to their families and communities. Hoping that they would be treated as normal people. Just like before.

One leper remembered how it was like before. He remembered he was excommunicated but now he was free to go back to his family. The leper remembered he had to beg for food, but now he was going to have plenty. He was happy that now unlike before he was going to be around his family and friends.

As a result of these happy emotions in him. The leper from Samaria turned back excitedly and ran back to Jesus and said ‘Thank you, Jesus.’

Thank you, Jesus.

Jesus asked the man in wonder. Where are the rest? Weren’t there ten of you?

Have you thanked God lately? Things might be bad but I am sure you can’t miss something to be thankful of.

Thank God today for anything in your life. And He will be happy you remembered Him…

Do You Know There Are One Million Stars In The Sky?

Welcome to my second blog 🙂!!!

Do you know that there are only one million stars in the sky? And one plus one is eleven(1+1=11)?

Stars in the sky.

Well….NO…One plus one is two.(1+1=2). Hence there are uncountable stars in the sky.

I have once tried to count them. I don’t even think I got to twenty for various reasons.

Reasons 1: Some stars are too small. This is because are too far away.

Reason 2: The stars are too many. They are too close to each other. This makes them too difficult to count.

Reason 3: When l look up in the sky to count the stars. I wonder where do I start and where do I end.

Reason 4: Why am I counting again?

Reason 5: They are just too beautiful to count.

In Psalms 147: 4-5, the Bible says. The Lord decides how many stars there would be in the sky. 5: Our Lord is great and powerful. He understands everything.

So to my question….Do you know that there are a million stars in the sky. The answer is No. Only God knows how many stars are in the sky. He placed them there.

And did you know this? He gave each one of them a name. And yes, even the smallest star in the sky that does not shine. And you can’t see it. It has a name.

What’s my point? God knows everything about you? All the good and all the bad. All your joys and all your sorrows. All your 😀 and all your 😔. Hence God is not the stranger to you.

He is the one and may be the only Person (Being) who gets you. I mean he created you, then it is not hard for him to understand you.

The question is………Do you know God?

Read the Bible and pray so that you can get to know the great and powerful God who understands everything.

He will definitely love your company….

A Walk Along The Beach

Welcome to my First Daily Inspirational Blog.

The First Blog, yeeeah…..🥳🥳🥳🥳

I know you have heard this story a thousand times before in your life. Probably a cliche by now. But I will use it as my first blog in my daily Inspirational section.

One night a man or even a woman had a dream. He saw two sets of footprints on the sand along a beach. For a distance there were two sets of footprints along the path. The sets of footprints later changed to one set of footprints. And finally, on the last stretch of the path. There were two sets of footprints.

Set of footprints in the sand.

The man wondered what the dream meant and he questioned God about it.

God told him that the footprints represented different stages in his life. It was his journey in life as he walked together with God. The man agreed but became angry with God.

He looked at the stage where there was only one set of footprints. It was the most difficult time of his life. He wondered why God had left him.

“Why did you leave me alone in the hardest times in my life?” he asked God.

God laughed a little and answered him. I didn’t leave you. I carried you in my arms because you were too tired to walk. And when you were well-rested. I put you back down, so we could continue walking together. That is why you only saw one set of footprints.

God carrying us when it’s tough.

Isn’t it lovely to know that even in the hardest times in your life, God is carrying you? When you are tired and weary, God is holding you because he knows you can’t move on. He is watching over you.

In Deut 31:6, it says…Be brave and strong. Don’t be afraid of the nations onthe other side of Jordan. The Lord God will always be at your side, and he will never abandon you.

So be confident and know that when it’s tough in your life. And you don’t know what to do. You are in God’s hands and he is watching over you.
