Even The Young Grow Weary….

Welcome to my twenty fourth blog!!!๐Ÿ™‚

It’s a good feeling to be young. This is when you are strongest with a lot of energy and full of life.

Being young…

When we are young, it’s the time in our life when we have the opportunity to achieve what we want. Be whatever we want. It’s the time to shape our future.

But things don’t go always as we want. Isaiah 40:31. Even young people get tired, then stumble and fall. 32. But those who trust the Lord will find new strength. They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings, they will walk and run without getting tired.

Being young is great, but even it has it’s limitations. We can’t do all things by ourselves. We need God to guide us through our path in life.

Again, when we are young it’s the opportunity in our lives to shape our future. It’s the one chance we have to determine the destiny of our lives. When we are young, that is when we determine who we will be in future. And what it will look like.

But we can’t do it alone. The path of life still has it’s challenges. And it’s not easier because we are young. Being young means we do have a lot of strength and the energy to face it all. But it doesn’t mean we won’t stumble and fall.

Like the rest of humanity, we will reach at a place in our lives where we will be tired and weary. We will be burdened down with the troubles in this life. And we will not know what to do.

There is a solution to this. Like it’s said in Isaiah. We should put our hope in God. And trust him with our lives.

In other words, we should ask God for help because even though we are young. We too need help while we walk this path of life.We too need guidance because sometimes we don’t know where we are going. As you know, God will show up and lead us to where he destinies us to go.

But those who hope in the Lord, he will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like Eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.

Being young in God.

The Colour You Like For Your Interior Decoration. And It’s Meaning.

Welcome to my twenty third blog ๐Ÿ™‚. And my first blog in Interior Design ๐Ÿ™‚!!!

I love designing space. Designing space for a perfectionist makes you feel perfect. It’s a good feeling when the design is perfect. Everything in the space is made just for you and your personality. And what you want to achieve in that particular space. It feels great when everything in your space is beautiful . Everything is just perfect.

I will start off my first blog in interior design by looking at different colours and what they mean. You will get to find out the different moods oozed out by different colours. And where you can use them in.

The Different Colours And Their Meaning.

Interior designing in red.

The colour red represents fire, passion or strength. It’s one of the best colours to use when you want things in your room to stand out very easily. If you use it in balanced/ good proportions it can be a pure and strong colour. But if not balanced, it can be aggressive and demanding.

When you want things to stand out in any space you have. Whether the living room, the kitchen or the bedroom you can use bright or dark colours and a little something red.

This bold red colour can be warm and inviting. And it can make you feel energetic and it stimulates and excites.

Beware of using too much red colour as it can be overstimulating.

Designing a room in orange.

The colour orange symbolises courage and hospitality. It evokes a sense of adventure and friendliness. Orange is a fun colour to work with in interior design.

Bolder shades of orange feel extravagant, warm and comfortable. The lighter orange colours create a feeling of tenderness and romance. They can also be sophisticated and elegant depending on one’s taste and personality.

The colour orange creates a sense of vibrant interior design. And it evokes positive emotions which will all bring excitement into your home or office design.

Interior decoration in green.

The colour green is the colour for nature. It symbolises hope, good luck and abundance.

As green represents ‘nature’ it can be used in spaces where you want to get the feel of the outdoors. And when used in the right way, it brings harmony and peace in the space you want to design.

It’s also one of the great colours to mix with others for a great interior design. This is proved by nature as every colour of flower has a green leaf and stem.

Designing in yellow

Yellow can make people feel confident and optimistic. It is associated with warm and happy things in life. It is used to make people smile and feel joyful.

When it’s used for interior design, it creates a sense of warmth and coziness. This colour of happy emotions creates happy interior decorating.

A person surrounded by yellow in an interior decorated space feels cheerful and energetic.

Rooms that are decorated in yellow have the effect of improving people’s moods. And it makes people forget about their trouble.

However using bright yellow paint is not recommended for decorating the entire room. Matching it with darker colours or brighter ones can make it stand out beautifully.

Decorating in blue

Blue expresses a calm and refreshing feeling. It evokes a sense of serenity and peace. And it is a very soothing colour. This is why it is the perfect colour for the bedroom. While in the bathrooms, it can create a spa-like tranquil atmosphere.

Strong blue stimulates clear thought while soft blues calm the mind. Blue is a cool, quiet and reserved colour which can also represent formality.

Too much blue can be depressing and it’s best paired with white or other lighter shades of blue.

It’s very ideal for reception areas as it is formal, conservative and balancing.

Interior design in purple

Purple is a dramatic, rich and sophisticated colour. It gives your interior design depth. And it’s mostly associated with luxury and creativity.

The lighter shades of purple, like lavender, add a restful quality to a room. Violet is mostly used to decorate the girls bedrooms as it is a peaceful and calm colour. It’s also used in working and learning areas as it is a creative colour.

Interior decoration in brown.

Brown is mostly associated with dark woods and rich soil. It’s a down to earth colour signifying stability, protection, comfort and support.

Since brown represents strength and maturity. It’s mostly favoured by males in interior design.

A room desiged in grey

Grey is a very versatile colour in interior design. As it can be mixed up with other colours to create a whole new and exciting look.

Grey creates a sense of neutrality and balance. Being a neutral colour it’s mostly used with other colours as it does not dominate them.

Interior design in black.

Black is the right colour for getting a sophisticated and elegant look. Although it’s associated with evil, mourning and death. It’s also the colour of wisdom.

In interior design, it’s always used in small amounts. With contrasting and complementary colours.

When used the right way, it can add depth and timeless elegance into a room. Or create a sense of mystery. Don’t use it in large quantities as it can evoke a sense of oppressiveness.

Designing in white.

The white colour expresses purity and cleanliness. This fresh, peaceful colour is used widely in interior design. It brings out a sense of youthfulness, faith and innocence. It can make small spaces appear large and also make rooms livelier, fresher and crispier.

Interior design in pink

Pink is often regarded as precious and girly. Being a light version of red. It symbolises passion in a gentle way. Pink colour shades are youthful and sweet. And will always add a touch of softness and femininity to an interior design.

Soft and beautiful shades of pink which are inspired by gorgeous pink flowers or paintings. Are excellent for warm and cool interior design. Decor that is quite unique and comforting.

Bright and deep pink colour shades add drama to interior design. Hot pink and magnetas, purplish and reddish pink colours add energy and sophistication to a design.

They also add maturity and gracefulness into the home decor. This is especially if the pink colour is combined with deep purple, black or gray colour items.

Enjoy decorating your space ๐Ÿ™‚!!!

Again… What Did You Do?

Welcome to my twenty second blog ๐Ÿ™‚!!!!

What did you do? What did your faith make you do? What do you believe? And what did it make you do? What you believe is very important. It determines your actions.

One day Jesus was preaching in a room full of people. This story is from Luke 5: 17-20. A paralyzed man carried by his friends on a mat was brought to Jesus to be healed. But since the room was too full of people listening to Jesus. The paralyzed man could not be taken to Jesus by his friends.

The story gets exciting and it makes one wonder what we could do because of our faith.

They could have decided to wait it out. You know, let Jesus finish preaching and when people are leaving. Take their friend to Jesus to be healed.

They could also have decided to come back the next day. And maybe, very early in the morning, before Jesus became crowded again.

And maybe, if they lived in the town where Jesus was preaching, that is Galilee. They could have followed him back to where he was staying. After he had finished preaching. And asked him to heal their friend.

I don’t know how they looked up. And saw the solution. But they looked at their paralyzed friend and looked at the roof. And they all decided that taking their friend to Jesus through the roof was the solution.

They went up to the roof and made a hole. And they let their paralyzed friend down through the roof until he was infront of Jesus.

Luke 5:20, When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the paralyzed man,” My friend your sins are forgiven.”

Their faith is very impressive. They believed so much that Jesus could make their friend walk again. And this led them to take extreme action. They decided to go up the roof and make a hole so that they could let down their friend in front of Jesus so that he could be healed ๐Ÿ˜ฎ. And he was healed ๐Ÿ˜ƒ! And he walked ๐Ÿ˜ฑ….

Amazing!!! What do you believe about God and yourself? And what does it make you do?

A Good Foundation For Your House Is Very Important.

Welcome to my twenty first blog ๐Ÿ™‚!!!

“It’s not the beauty of a building you should look at, it’s the construction of the foundation that will stand the test of time” David Allan Coe.

The Foundation of a house.

Every building, whether it’s the tallest skyscraper there is. Or the smallest house ever seen, all need to have a good foundation.

A good foundation is what allows a house to stand for a long time. It might be the most beautiful house you have ever seen. But without a good foundation, then it’s a badly built house. This is because this beautiful house will not last for many years. It will have many constructional problems and may end up falling apart.

The same is true in our lives. We need to have a good foundation in our lives. A good foundation will ensure we live our lives to the fullest. And we achieve the goals we have set out to achieve.

A good foundation will help us live a happy life. Not one that is without trouble. But a life that had trouble but since we had a good foundation. We were able to overcome all the problems.

You must be wondering, what do you mean when you say, ‘the foundation of a person life’?

According to the internet dictionary, a foundation means an underlying basis or principle. In a person’s life, it would mean the principles or values that you hold that form or determine who you are.

Your values.

What do you believe about yourself and others? How do you make your decisions about yourself? And what can you do and not do?

Being consistent with who you hold out yourself to be for others. And who you hold out yourself to be for yourself. This is all part of the definition of a person’s foundation.

House built on rock and one built on sand.

Mathew 7: 24-27… Anyone who hears and obeys these teachings of mine is like a wise person who built a house on solid rock.

25. Rain poured down, rivers flooded and the winds beat against that house. But it did not fall because it was built on solid rock.

26. Anyone who hears my teachings and doesn’t obey them is like a foolish person who built a house on sand.

27. The rain poured down, the rivers flooded, and the winds blew and beat against the house. Finally, it fell with a crash.

The word of God helps us to form a good foundation in our lives. It should help you determine your values and principles in your life. The word of God should help you know who you are. And who you are not.

With a good value system in your life, you will be able to face any problems and challenges that come your way. And you will definitely last through the storm.

The Decision You Made Is Good…

Welcome to my twentieth blog ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚!!!

Never trust ladders they are always up to something ๐Ÿ˜. I hope that one tickled you a bit. And heyโ€ฆ. you can trust in God. He is always up to something good.

Trusting God.

Yeah… today is all about trusting God in the decisions you make. When you give your life to Jesus and you decide to follow him. Somehow, you have put your trust in God.

But what does it mean to put our trust in God? Let’s start by defining the word trust. Trust is a firm belief in the character, strength or truth about someone or something. This is according to the internet dictionary.

When you trust a person, you have believed in them. And you have chosen to rely on them for something. Or you have decided to do what they have said.

When you trust someone, you believe you will benefit from relying on them. And something good will come out of you trusting them. I don’t believe you can easily trust someone or something that wants to harm you.

No…you will only and easily trust someone or something that brings some good to us. Hence we trust God.

In the God we trust.

We trust God for many reasons. We trust God to give us good health, to provide us with anything we need. You trust him to protect you and guide you in this life especially when you don’t know what to do. And you are not quite sure where a certain decision you have made will lead to. Where will the path you have taken lead to? When you don’t know what will happen next.

When you don’t know what you want or need will come from. When you don’t know if you can trust someone or not. When you don’t know if this is the right decision or not. When you don’t know if it is the right time to do something. Then what you do is to trust God with the decision you make.

You pray and then you make a decision. And trust God that the decision you have made is right. And he will provide what you need or want.

We all have the ‘ I don’t know what to do’ moments in our life. And this is one of those moments you should invite God. And let Him guide you into making decisions that are good for you.

I know he will definitely guide you through the right path. And you will end up trusting Him more because God will always guide you to the good paths. The decisions you make because you trust God. Always end up to be good ones.

Trust the Lord God.

Psalms 28:7…You are my strong shield and I trust you completely. You have helped me, and I will celebrate and thank you in a song.

Do You Believe God Can Give You A Bright Future?

Welcome to my nineteenth blog!!!๐Ÿ™‚

Psalms 16:5-6, You Lord are all I want. You are my choice and you keep me safe. You make my life pleasant and my future is bright.

A bright future with God.

These Bible verses remind me of the story of Joseph. Joseph is the firstborn of Rachel and Jacob. The big brother of Benjamin. He also had ten step-brothers who were the sons of Leah. Leah was Jacob’s first wife.

Life is not easy for Joseph, but throughout his life story, he chooses to trust in God. His life is full of turmoil as he goes through many problems that should make him bitter and angry with life.

First, his own brothers decide to sell him as a slave in a foreign country, Egypt. They do this because they are jealous of him. He was born in his father’s old age. This made him be loved very much by his father.

His father even gave him a beautiful coat of many colours. This made his brothers extremely angry. As a result of this, they threw him in a pit and later sold him to be a slave in Egypt.

Joseph is thrown in a pit.

Luckily, Joseph got a good master who liked him. God’s hand was still with him. His master, Potiphar, put him in charge of his house. He liked Joseph’s work and he decided to put his house under his care. Even in a foreign nation God was still with him. Guiding and protecting him.

Unfortunately another tragedy happened. What could be worse than being a slave? You are wonderingโ€ฆ. being put in prison. Potiphar’s wife falsely accused him of rape when he refused to sleep with her. And thus he had to be thrown in prison.

Things were grim and it looked like it was the end of his life. But even in prison, God was with him. He was put in charge of other prisoners by the jailer because he too liked Joseph too much.

One day Joseph helped two prisoners by interpreting their dreams. This kind act made one prisoner to remember Joseph when the Pharaoh had a dream he needed to be interpreted. The prisoner who was released and sent back to his job. He told the king about Joseph’s ability to interpret dreams. And the Pharaoh sent for him.

Joseph correctly interpreted the Pharaoh’s dreams. And he ended up being made to be second in command to the Pharaoh. He also ended up saving Egypt from famine.

In a country not his own, Joseph became the second most powerful person. Just for interpreting people’s dreams. Who knew it would end up like this? God Knew.

Joseph, second in command in Egypt.

Hold on to God, he knows your future. He has made it a bright one.

Getting Your Products Out Of The Door Quickly.

Welcome to my Eighteenth blog ๐Ÿ™‚!. And my second blog in marketing ๐Ÿ™‚!

There is a short animated story on YouTube. The short story is called ‘The Small Shoemaker’ by La Petite Cordonnier Team. It is very interesting as it illustrates why you should find a strategy to get your products out of the door. Before your customers are snatched by your competitors.

There is a small shoemaker who opens his small shop and he does find customers. But on this particular day, another person selling shoes just like him opens up shop on the road. He is unable to sell his shoes and he decides to find a way to sell. You can watch: The Small Shoemaker

The Small Shoemaker

Just like the shoemaker all businessmen or women do have products that they need to sell at a good pace. You may have a product and you are wondering how you can make sure it reaches your customers. I am going to show you three ways through which a product leaves a business.

1. Through Traditional Marketing.

Traditional Marketing

One way to show your products the door is to use traditional marketing. Marketing here still would be the act of promoting and selling products or services. There are various traditional ways of marketing your products. And it includes print, broadcast, direct mail and telephone.

Print Marketing refers to advertising in newspapers, magazines and newsletters. Including all printed intended for distribution.

Broadcast marketing does include radio and television advertisements. This is very common as you must have heard or seen plenty of adverts on TV and radio.

Direct Mail Marketing includes printed materials like postcards, brochures, catalogues and letters. They are sent through postal mail to attract customers.

Telephone Marketing or telemarketing is delivering sales messages over the phone. This is done to convince people to buy a product or service.

The message is you can create awareness of your product through Traditional Marketing. This will be the magnet that will attract customers to your door and will lead to the purchase of your products. If you do have a quality product. Then these traditional marketing strategies will be useful to you. They will lead to consistent purchases of your products.

Though traditional marketing is quite expensive and considered to have a low ROI. It’s most effective in reaching targeted audiences. Or diverse audiences who may not be found online.

2. Through online marketing.

Online Marketing

What is online marketing? Online marketing in simple terms is marketing activities conducted online. You must remember that marketing is the activity of promoting your products and services. Thus online marketing is marketing done through the internet only. There are six ways in which you can market your products online. They are:

Social Media Marketing.

Social Media Marketing

This is the process of creating awareness of your products through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

Over 53% of the world’s population is on social media hence it’s a good place for you to look for customers.

Another interesting statistics is that 54% of social browsers use social media to research products. ( GlobalWebIndex). Hence advertising your products on social media does get them out of the door. Both these statistics can be found at hubspot.com.

Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization both involve increasing the visibility of a business website. A more visible website means more traffic which might be able to boost the sales of your products.

SEM is the act of using paid strategies to increase the visibility of your products and services online. This can be through both paid and organic search results.

SEO is what leads your business website to appear higher on a search engine results page through organic searches.

According to ahrefs.com SEO leads have a 14.67% close rate (HubSpot). Definitely a worthwhile way for selling your products and services.

Email marketing

Email Marketing

Email marketing is an online marketing strategy. It’s based on sending emails to customers to promote your products and services. You can also use email marketing to grow your relationships with current customers by informing them more about your business.

It is very useful for selling your products. As Oberlo.com states that for every $1 spent on email marketing, you can expect an average of $42(DMA 2019). By now ยพ of your products should be out of the door.

PPC Marketing

PPC Marketing

You are wondering what PPC Marketing is? Well, PPC Marketing stands for pay-per-click. In this model of marketing, advertisers pay a fee each time one of their adverts is clicked. It is a way of buying visits to your website rather than waiting for your website to be searched for.

PPC is useful in getting more leads which might eventually lead to increased sales in your business.

Ppcprotect.com says that 79% of marketers say PPC is hugely beneficial for their business. (Hanapin Marketing, 2019). This is proof that PPC Marketing can lead your products out of the door.

Creating websites for your business.

A mobile-friendly website is key in marketing the products and services of your business. An easy to read and interesting website will attract a lot of attention to your business. And it might even lead to an increase in the sale of your products.Maple.com reaffirms the importance of a good website. It indicates that 75% of customers have judged a business for the quality of its website.

Video Marketing

Using videos to market your products

According to Lemonlight.com video ads are the number one way customers discovered a brand they purchased from (Aminoto). This is interesting. It clearly shows that the cost of video marketing can give a good return to your business. Examples can be such as creating YouTube videos. Definitely worth a try!

3.Through Sales Persons.

Sales people are people whose job is to sell products and services. On the other hand sales involves all the activities that involve the selling of a product or service to a consumer or another business.

Using a salesperson can be very profitable for your business. They can get your products out of the door fast. And finish the ยผ of your products that were remaining.

Using a salesperson is also a good way of ensuring consistent purchases of your products as they easily enable customer loyalty.

Vintage.com says that 53% of customers’ loyalty is driven by sales experience. Great sales experiences created by the sales team can lead to increased revenue for the business. Hence greater profitability.

Using sales persons to get your products out of the door.

By now all your goods are out of the door. And you have your good revenue and great profit. It’s time to kick the next stock out of the door ๐Ÿ™‚.

How Did We Become Friends In The First Place?

Welcome to my Seventeenth blog!๐Ÿ™‚

We all have one, two, three, twenty or countless. Or we would like to have one or many. We like their company…we like it when we laugh together or even share sorrows together.

They might know us for who we are. Our struggles, our successes, practically everything about us is not a secret to them. We like them sometimes. We don’t like them other times.

This person or people is called a ‘Friend’. Your best friend. Your B.F.Fโ€ฆ..Any title you give a friend will do. But one thing about a friend is that they know you better than anyone else.

They ought to know your likes and dislikes so that they can relate better with you. Vice versa is also true, you should know what they like and don’t like. This will help you relate better with them.

This will strengthen the friendship. As both parties understand each other very well. Hence they all know how to relate with each other.

Does then a friendship happen overnight? Yesโ€ฆ you can meet someone who you ‘click’ within minutes. But I don’t think you can end up saying you are now BFF’s. Heyโ€ฆ. These are just my thoughts. I have a penny for them..

Anyway. Your conversations might be great. But can you honestly say that you are now best friends?

According to the internet dictionary…a friend is a person with whom one has a mutual bond of affection.

My thoughts… a bond takes a long time to create because it means you have to know each other really well. Hence I think a good friendship would take time to be a good friendship.

John 15:15โ€ฆ Servants don’t know what their master is doing, and so I don’t speak to you as my servants. I speak to you as my friends, and I have told you everything my father has told me.

Jesus is our friend. A friend by this blog’s definition is someone who you like and you know them very well.

Jesus is a friend

As Jesus says in the Bible he has told us everything about Himself that we need to know. About who He is and why He was sent here. He also told us everything about God. What we needed to know.

On the other hand, God and Jesus know everything about us. God created us and thus there is nothing he doesn’t know about us.

The question then is, do you want to become friends with God?

The answer is, read the Bible. And you will get to know God. You will know who he is through reading the Bible. And through Jesus Christ, both of you can form a great bond and become Bff’s.

God Will Take Care Of You. And He Will Provide For You Always.

Welcome to my sixteen blog !!!๐Ÿ™‚

Have you ever shepherded? Well…if you have I guess this then would be your experience.

A shepherd and his flock.

You would have to wake up early in the morning and take out your herd to graze. You would definitely need to choose where there is plenty of grass for all the animals to graze. Most preferably, where there is a river if you live near one. This would be so that the animals can have something to drink as they feed.

You would watch over them carefully and protect them from any danger. Maybe you would probably take a dog along with you. The dog would help in protecting the animals from any danger.

Each animal would be very important to you. This would be in terms of the resources they provide whether it’s their skin, milk or meat. Hence you would do anything to protect this income of yours.

The animals are your money and maybe the only source of income. Thus you are going to ensure that they are well fed and well protected. So that they bring you maximum income.

When the day is done, you will take them home. And you will keep them in their clean house. Until the next day when you will repeat the process again.

Jesus uses this concept of shepherding to explain what he is to a Christian. He was born during the times when shepherding was one of the major activities. And maybe He did it when He was young. Hence he used it to explain the Jesus and Christian relationship.

Jesus as a shepherd

The main purpose of the shepherd is to ensure the flock is well fed and protected. He watches over them and ensures no harm comes to them.

This is what King David said about God.

Psalms 23: 1-3:

1. Lord, are my shepherd. I will never be in need.

2. You let me rest in fields of green grass. You lead me to streams of peaceful waters.

3. and you refresh my life.

4. I may walk through a valley as dark as death, but I won’t be afraid. You are with me and your shepherd’s rod makes me feel safe.

Jesus is our shepherd. Our guide through life. He will guide us to the place where there are plenty of good things. And a lot of happiness for us. Where it is peaceful and God provides for us anything we need.

God provides and protects

He will also watch over us when we go through hard moments in our lives. Moments we don’t know what to do. And maybe you have no one to turn to. God is still there watching over us to ensure we are safe and no harm comes to us.

Trust God to watch over you and to provide for you. This is His main job…I mean He created you. So he will watch over you, protect you and provide for you.

Can You Find Your Way Back?

Welcome to the fifteenth blog!!!๐Ÿ™‚

A little bit of amusement in chemistry. I think you may like this one. Two atoms were walking down the street when they ran to each other. One looked confused. The other one asked, “Are you all right?”

” No, l lost an electron”

” Are you sure?”

“Yeah, I am positive”

Have you ever been lost? Did you feel the confusion as you tried to get your way back? Did you eventually get back to the right path?

I remember the series lost. A plane crashes and the survivors find themselves on a strange island. They go through a lot of drama and confusion as they try to figure out how to get out of the island.

In real life, when you get lost especially when you are in a new place. It can come with a lot of drama and confusion as you try to find the right way.

In your personal life, it may be the same when you get lost. You have made the wrong choice and now everything in your life seems to go wrong. This is where you get to hear. We are all human beings. We all make mistakes. I mean who doesn’t.

But you need to get back to the right path. Just like being in a new place and you getting lost. You need to get back to the right path. You need to find help so that you can find your way to your destination.

Psalms 25:4, Show me your paths and teach me to follow, guide me by your truth and instruct me.

God can help you get back to the right path in your life. Life has many choices than we need to make. We may make the right one and find ourselves living a good life. But like all human beings, we can also make a wrong one.

This wrong decision might lead you down the wrong path in life. And you may not know how to get to the right path in life. You may not know how to right your wrong choices.

As earlier stated, the answer lies in God. You can ask God to show you how to get back to the right path. Where you can be able to live a purposeful life.

God guides

It may not be easy. But with help from God, he will guide you to His right paths. And you can trust Him to keep you safe in those paths.
