God Has To Be Powerful to You.

Welcome to my fourteenth blog!!!!🙂

I read this quote by Lao Tzu ” Watch your thoughts, they become your words. Watch your words, they become your actions. Watch your actions, they become habit. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”

A quote

Someone once said but I wonder if it’s true. You are who you think you are. Whatever mental picture you have created in your mind about yourself that is who you will be in real life.

I wonder if we add to our mental pictures about ourselves to what God says about us? Who could we become? When we look at the influential people in the Bible who believed in God. They first had to believe that God is powerful. Then they were able to do mighty things as God told them they would do.

David in Psalms 139, praised our powerful God for creating him. He praised God for his power, might and knowing him so well. There are many things in life that David did that required him to believe that God was powerful enough to do them.

David playing a harp.

I believe it began with a simple thought by David. David believed who he was to God. And that God loved him too much and He would do for David what he said he would do.

I think these basic thoughts were the basis of what David did in his life. All the mighty and powerful things recorded in the Bible that David did. All were because he believed that our powerful God loved him and God could do anything.

Psalms 4:23, Carefully guard your thoughts because they are the source of true life.

David had first to believe that a God he never saw was powerful as He said. Then after believing he was able to have faith to do the mighty things God had told him to do. He believed and then did mighty things.

What do you believe about God? Guard that with all your heart. And you will be able to do what God wills you in your life. I am sure it’s what you asked God for, don’t you?
